Many activities to celebrate National Day

VGP – Many activities have been carried out here and there throughout the country to welcome and celebrate the August 1945 Revolution Day (August 19, 1945) and the National Day (September 2, 1945).

Young people in the capital city of Hà Nội organized a seminar "Young people of Hà Nội before and in the August Revolution."

In the northern province of Tuyên Quang, many cultural and sports activities are being organized to welcome the Revolution Day and the National Day, including an ethnic minority cultural and sports festival, the Youth Camp and Gala in Sơn Dương District, and a photo exhibition at the Historical Site of Tân Trào to depict activities of Party and State leaders during the anti-French resistance war.

Many mountainous districts of the central province of Quảng Ngãi have organized art performances, film screenings and contest on the August 1945 Revolution.

A fine art exhibition was opened in Việt Trì City of the northern province of Phú Thọ. Over 268 works of 234 authors from 14 provinces were displayed, including paintings, sculptures, and graphic works.

In Laos, the Department of Culture and Information of Xaignabouli and the Việt Nam Cultural Center in Laos jointly held a photo exhibition and a gala night. Nearly 100 photos on the Laos-Việt Nam friendship, country and people of Việt Nam were shown. The organizing board supposed to provide the audience a better insight in Việt Nam and the special solidarity and friendship between the two countries.
