Malaysia plans to send business teams to VN soon

VGP – The Malaysian FM revealed that Malaysia is going to dispatch teams of experienced entrepreneurs to Việt Nam for surveying and seeking for investment and business opportunities.

The Malaysian minister made the statement on Friday in his meeting with Vietnamese Deputy PM, FM Phạm Gia Khiêm in Cha-am, Hua Hin, Thailand.

In their meeting, Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm and FM Datuk Anifah Aman areed to complete the Action Plan to realize the Joint Statement on the comprehensive cooperation in the 21st century.

Giving priority to economic, trade and investment cooperation, Deputy PM Khiêm suggested Malaysia consider the establishment of some industrial parks in Việt Nam, receive more Vietnamese guest workers to Malaysia, and expand cooperation in tourism, education and petroleum.

The diplomats were also unanimous that Việt Nam and Malaysia should discuss and reach an agreement on fisheries cooperation in conformity with international laws and practices. At the same time, the two sides pledged to open joint patrols within their adjacent and overlapping territorial waters.
