Malaysia bolsters trade with VN
VGP - A memorandum of understanding on joint activities was signed on Thursday between the Đông Anh Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Join Stock Company (EEMC) and Malaysia’s Hyrax Oil Sdn Bhd.
Accordingly, the Malaysian company will provide EEMC with at least 5.1 million liters of oil worth of US $7 million over the next three years.
The Trade Department under Malaysia’s Ministry of International Trade and Industry has beefed up trade activities with Việt Nam, especially promoting cooperation between the countries’ businesses.
Many business delegations from Malaysia and Việt Nam have participated in each other’s exhibitions and fairs to further cooperation.
The Department plans to send its delegates to Việt Nam’s two major fairs, namely the international trade fair in Hồ Chí Minh City and the Fair of Medical Equipment and Services.
It also intends to invite Vietnamese enterprises to the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS 2009) early next month and another fair of Malaysian goods in November.
