Deputy PM Hoàng Trung Hải recently requested the Central Steering Committee, in the second half, to encourage people to relocate in new urban areas and facilitate the establishment of property rental companies.

In addition, the Deputy PM also instructed the Committee to finalize favored policies for more enterprises to build houses for workers and low-income people in urban areas, review the implementation of housing construction projects and make full use of ODA sources for housing development projects in natural disaster-hit areas.

The Ministry of Construction, in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and the Việt Nam Development Bank (VDB), was assigned to propose incentive mechanisms for the founding of property rental companies.

According to the latest report of the Central Steering Committee, Việt Nam’s real estate market has seen numerous signs of recovery. The demand for tourism real estate has become robust. Land allocation for construction of industrial parks has increased nationwide. Transaction floors on real estate have taken shape and operated transparently.

After the Government’s Resolution 18/2009/NQ-CP came into effect a year ago, 24 projects on housing for workers in industrial parks have been implemented and provided accommodations for 125,000 people. Meanwhile, 55,000 low-income people have benefited from other 33 housing projects./.
