MARD to be in charge of FAO-funded project
VNGOP – Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm on May 28 agreed that the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) to function as Việt Nam’s major participant in the Project "Methodology and instruments to research the market of food consumption" financed by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for Laos, Thailand, China and Việt Nam.

On the same day, the Deputy PM accepted the contents of the draft agreement between the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) and the Ministry of Planning and Investment to fund the Project "Upgrading and enlarging the water supply in Điện Biên Phủ City" and the Project "Building water supply in Lai Châu Town".
