VGP – The National Assembly resumed the second sitting on November 8 with legislators meeting in-person to discuss socio-economic issues and COVID-19 fight.

November 08, 2021 2:02 PM GMT+7

Specifically, the legislative bodies will deliberate on the implementation of the socio-economic development plan for 2021, draft socio-economic development plan for 2022, Government’s report on COVID-19 fight, and three-year finance-budget plan for the 2022-2024 period.

The discussions will be followed by question-and-answer session, scheduled to take place on November 10 to mid-November 12, during which Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Ministers of Health; Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; Planning and Investment; and Education and Training will clarify questions raised by the legislators.

The Legislature is expected to vote on two draft laws and 12 draft resolutions.

The second session will wrap up on November 13.
