Leaders receive congratulatory messages on 69th National Day
VGP - Leaders from numerous countries have conveyed celebratory wishes to the Party, State, Government and National Assembly on the occasion of the 69 th anniversary of National Day (September 2).
Messages were sent by the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China’s Central Committee and President of China, Xi Jinping; the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, Zhang Dejiang; and the Chinese Premier, Li Keqiang.
The General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party’s Central Committee and President of Laos, Choummaly Sayasone; the Lao Prime Minister, Thoongsinh Thammavong; and the Chairwoman of the Lao National Assembly, Pany Yathotu, also sent good wishes to their Vietnamese counterparts.
At the same time, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen congratulated Viet Nam on this special day.
Vietnamese leaders also received messages from leaders of Cuba, Russia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, and the Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-Moon.-VNA
