Leaders congratulate Indonesia on successful elections
VGP - Party General Secretary, State President Nguyen Phu Trong and PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc on April 19 extended congratulations to Indonesian President Joko Widodo on the successful organization of the presidential election and the parliamentary election.

The same day, Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh extended congratulations to Indonesian FM Retno Marsudi.
In their messages, the Vietnamese leaders congratulated Indonesia on the smooth and peaceful elections, which create foundation for the country to continue developing stably and prosperously and promoting its status in the region and the world.
They expressed their hope that the Viet Nam-Indonesia strategic partnership will continuously be strengthened for the sake of the two peoples and for peace, stability and prosperity of the ASEAN Community.
