The three-month-old baby is getting well and is expected to leave the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi soon.

Meanwhile, the worker, who was the 16th confirmed case in Viet Nam, has been quarantined at a medical establishment in Binh Xuyen district, Vinh Phuc province. She is also in stable health condition.

Medical experts affirmed that Viet Nam is capable of treating COVID-19 patients. Even new cases emerge, the country is able to isolate and get rid of the disease.

Earlier on February 15, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc tasked the Ministries of Public Security and National Defense to strengthen control of quarantined individuals suspected of having the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) in accordance with instructions of the Ministry of Health.

The move aims to ensure that no suspected cases would leave the isolated areas.

Foreigners' work permits shall be revoked if they are among the suspected cases but fail to comply with quarantine regulations or arbitrarily leave the isolated areas, PM Phuc ordered./.
