Lao leaders extend condolences over passing of former State President Le Duc Anh

VGP - The Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the Lao National Assembly (NA), Government and the Lao Front for National Construction (LFNC) Central Committee extended their condolences to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, NA, Government and the Viet Nam Fatherland Front over the decease of former State President Le Duc Anh.

The messages say that: “On behalf of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the Lao NA, Government and the LFNC, we express our deep sympathy to the death of former State President Le Duc Anh.

We highly appraise huge contributions of Le Duc Anh to Viet Nam’s independence, protection and establishment process over the recent 80 years. 

Le Duc Anh made crucial contributions to strengthening and developing the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Viet Nam”. 

They also send their deep condolences to the Vietnamese people and Le Duc Anh’s family.
