Lao Standing Deputy PM to visit and work in Quảng Trị Prov.

VNGOVNet – A 20-member working team headed by Mr. Somsavat Lengsavat, Politburo member of the Lao Revolutionary People’s Party, Standing Deputy PM of the Lao Government, Chairman of the Laos-Vietnam Cooperation Subcommittee, will pay a working visit to Lao Bảo, central province of Quảng Trị, from January 31 to February 1.

Standing Deputy PM Nguyễn Sinh Hùng, on behalf of the Vietnamese Prime Minister, entrusted the Chairman of the Quảng Trị Province People’s Committee, Mr. Lê Hữu Phúc, to function as the main implementer, in collaboration with interdisciplinary forces, in receiving and working with the Lao delegation at the Lao Bảo International Border-gate. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Public Security were assigned to facilitate and ensure the safety for the Lao delegation during their working visit to Vietnam.
