Khanh Hoa province gets rice relief

VGP – Deputy PM Vuong Dinh Hue signed Decision 10/QD-TTg on rice relief from the national reserve for Khanh Hoa province.

Accordingly, the Deputy PM assigned the Ministry of Finance to put aside 1,000 tons of rice from the national reserve for victims of the 12th tropical cyclone (Damrey).

The Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee was asked to receive the food aid, then provide to needy people. 

Earlier, tropical storm Damrey hit the southern province of Khanh Hoa on November 4, 2017, one of the most powerful typhoons in the South Central Coast with 108 deaths and 364 injuries. The province was affected heavily with 45 deaths, 299 injuries, and over VND 14.7 trillion of economic loss./.
