Joint Steering Committee for Development Triangle to convene its first meeting
VNGOVNet – On the proposal of the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI), the PM agreed in principle that the MPI will act as the main implementer, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant ministries and local authorities, in organizing the first meeting of the Joint Steering Committee for the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Development Triangle.

The Meeting will be hold in Pleiku City, the Central Highlands Province of Gia Lai in late March and early April, 2007. The ministerial-level meeting is expected to last for one day before the 2-3 day expert-level one.
The expense for the Meeting will be allocated from the approved 2007 support fund for the cooperation with Laos and Cambodia.
