Mr. Yoshihiko Nakagaki is also Chairman of the FEC’s Committee for Japan–Viet Nam Cultural and Economic Exchange.

Viet Nam highly appraised the role of the Japanese private sector in enhancing the two nations’ economic cooperation, the Deputy PM said, welcoming Japan’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to invest in Viet Nam’s subsidiary industries.

Mr.  Yoshihiko Nakagaki supposed that Viet Nam has effectively exploited the Official Development Assistance (ODA) sponsored by Japan, especially in fields of infrastructure, suggesting the two sides adjust the ODA suitably to improve the effectiveness of the ODA.

Viet Nam hopes that the Japanese enterprises will take advantages of new opportunities and boost investment in Viet Nam in prioritized sectors listed in the Viet Nam Industrialization Strategy, said the Deputy PM.

He encouraged the Japanese enterprises to care about other areas including clean agriculture, high technology and other potential fields.

The Vietnamese leader asserted the determination to drastically realize measures to complete the legal framework and policies to create a sustainable and open investment and business environment for foreign investors, especially those from Japan.
