Japanese cherry blossom trees planted in Da Lat
VGP - Up to 125 Japanese cherry (sakura) trees on November 21 were planted in Da Lat city in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong.

Among these trees, 100 were planted on International Hill in Da Lat City Flower Park, while the remaining grown at Muoi Loi garden which belongs to a renowned floricultural artisan in the city.
The plantation event was attended by the leaders of Lam Dong province, representatives from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Viet Nam, florists from Thai Phien, Ha Dong, and Van Thanh flower gardens, as well as numerous locals and visitors.
The trees were presented by Japan's Himeji Flowers Auction Co., Ltd as a gift to celebrate Da Lat’s 125 years of founding and development (1893-2018) and the 45th anniversary of Viet Nam – Japan’s diplomatic relations (1973-2018).
On the occasion, a stone stele was also installed at Da Lat city flower garden to mark the special event.
