In October, Japan was the most attractive destination of Vietnamese guest workers by recruiting 8,327 laborers; followed by Taiwan with 4,216 laborers, the RoK with 647 laborers; Macao with 116.

In the first ten months, 118,033 Vietnamese workers were sent abroad, meeting 98% of the preset goal (in 2019, Viet Nam expects to send 120,000 guest workers).

Since July, Japan outstripped Taiwan to become the most attractive destination in the eyes of Vietnamese guest workers thanks to high wages, developed science and technology, and advance labor techniques./.
