Japanese Ambassador Sakaba Mitsuo expressed his deep sympathy to the victims and hoped that, his Government’s US $150,000-worth batch of tents, canvas, blankets, mosquito nets, and water filters can help them overcome difficulties and stabilize their life. The Ambassador reiterated that the Japanese Government is willing to continue its relief activities in Việt Nam.

Presenting the donation of US $50,000 to Deputy FM Vũ Dũng, RoK Ambassador Im Hong Jae stated that, as one of the countries frequently hit by natural calamities, the RoK thoroughly understands losses and difficulties faced by the Vietnamese Government and people, especially the victims and their families. He expressed his hope that, through the donation, the RoK can help the victims deal with the outcomes of the disaster.
