The event is organised by the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association, also introduces 11 watercolour paintings by nine painters from countries and territories, including Myanmar, Turkey, the Philippines, Chinese Taipei, Malaysia and Thailand.

The works focus landscapes and people of Viet Nam as well as the country’s customs.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association Siu Quy highlighted the works on display, saying that they get high appreciation from the municipal Fine Arts Association’s advisory board.

The exhibition is held to highlight the beauty and diversity of watercolour material, while providing an opportunity for the participating artists to exchange experience with each other.

The event will run until May 26.
