“Winter forest” photo of Jan Cawley artist (English) wins golden medal

The event is jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST); the Việt Nam Artist Photographic Association (VAPA); and the International Photographic Union (FIAP).

The organization board awarded 32 excellent works with two gold medals, four silver, six bronze, and 20 honorable certificates of FIAP and MOCST.

Over 300 photos were selected for exhibition.

VAPA President Chu Chí Thành evaluated that both award-winning and exhibited photos are state-of-art works with artistic and humane significance.

It was reported that 985 Vietnamese artists contributed over 6,500 photos to the contest, mainly reflecting socio-economic development and emergence of Việt Nam.
