The significant event aims to welcome the 1000th anniversary of Thăng Long–Hà Nội and the Việt Nam Family Day (June 28).

This is also the first time the MCST launches such a photo contest to honor typical humane values of Vietnamese families.

All Vietnamese citizens and foreigners over 18 years old can submit ten works each in maximum. The deadlines are July 28 (through direct submission) and July 19 (by post).

Outstanding photos reflecting the beauties of Vietnamese families will be collected and displayed at an exhibition scheduled on June 28, 2011.

In addition, the prize-winning photos will be used for advertisements and dissemination of Vietnamese families.

The Organization Board will award 21 prizes including one first grade, two second, three third, and 15 encouraging prizes./.
