Int’l conference on overcoming consequences of war to be held in US
VGP – An international conference on overcoming consequences of war and Viet Nam-US cooperation will be held in Washington DC and the headquarters of the United Nations in New York City from March 25-26.
The event will be jointly organized by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The first conference with the theme “Viet Nam: overcoming consequences of war, efforts for peace and sustainable development” will be held at the headquarters of the United Nations, New York City, the US.
The second one, themed “overcoming consequences of war, reconciliation and future cooperation between Viet Nam and the US” will be organized in Washington DC, the US.
Participants in the event include Deputy Minister of Defense Nguyen Chi Vinh, Head of Viet Nam's Permanent Mission to the United Nations Dang Dinh Quy, Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Ha Kim Ngoc, Assistant to United Nations Secretary-General Asak
