Int’l Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City 2018 to be held

This year, the ITE HCMC 2018 will draw hundreds of local and foreign companies of more than 40 countries and territories featuring over 300 stalls, Brunei, Cambodia, Germany, India, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Laos, Holland, Russia, Turkey and others.

In addition, various activities will be held during the festival, such as the award ceremony honoring 100 outstanding tourist brands, a singing contest, cultural exchanges between localities throughout the country. It is expected to attract 300 international buyers from high demand markets and 30,000 visitors.

Deputy director of Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Tourism La Quoc Khanh said, the event is a platform for international and regional buyers, suppliers and trade professionals from tourism and travel organisations in both inbound and outbound markets in the Mekong sub-region.

The event will focus on expanding major markets, including North American, Europe and ASEAN, making a breakthrough in the city's tourism promotion in the 2018-2010 period, he added.

The expo is organised by the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism in coordination with Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Tourism, Viet Nam Trade Fair & Advertising JSC, and Informa Exhibitions.
