Int’l Techmart 2012 to take place in September
VGP – The International Techmart Vietnam 2012 will be held from September 20-23 in Hanoi by the Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with the People’s Committees of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
The event aims to develop the technological market, to honour achievements of Vietnam’s scientific and technological industry, to connect science, technology, education, training with production and business, to support technological innovations to commercially promote scientific and technological products for competitiveness and technological exchanges and transfer with ASEAN and countries around the world.
The event is expected to help promote the implementation of national programs, such as national technology innovation, national product development, high technology development, to name a few.
There will be around 600 stalls for agencies, domestic and international businesses, groups and individuals to introduce, sell and purchase science and technology products.
This year’s Techmart will draw the attendance of ASEAN nations, European countries, the US, Russia, India and others, according to the Director General of the National Agency for Science and Technology Information Ta Ba Hung.
Since 2003, the Ministry has held 4 national and international Techmart editions, attracting nearly 2,000 organizations and firms and seeing the signing of over 7,000 contracts worth roughly VND 8.3 trillion.
