PM Nguyen Tan Dung made the remark today in Ha Noi at the Government Inspectorate's meeting on key missions in 2014.

Mr. Dung highly spoke of what the inspector sector did in 2013, particularly in examining administrative issues, settling accusations lodged by people, as well as countering corruption.

In 2014, the sector has to focus on building specific programs and plans to raise the State administrative management efficiency, constrain weaknesses and shortcomings, and handle complaints and denunciations of citizens right at the grassroots level.

In 2013, the inspector sector launched 8,921 administrative investigations and exposed the misuse of VND 326 trillion and 4,520 hectares. Accordingly, 1,586 collectives and 2,675 individuals were imposed administrative fines worth over VND 3 trillion./.
