India anxiously look east towards VN, says reseacher
VGP - Matching India's Look East policy as part of India's political, economic and security interests in Southeast Asia and in view of the visit to India of National Assembly Chairman Nguyễn Phú Trọng, Việt Nam wishes to encourage India to a large extent and to develop bilateral relations of these countries with India, said a senior researcher of India.
In his February 25 article
entitled “Looking east towards Việt Nam” on The
Statement, Dr. JK Patel, Director of the Foreign Policy Research Institute
in New Delhi, asserted that India's Look East policy conceived in the early
1990s gave a new turn to Indo-Vietnamese relations.
