According to the MHA, the roadmap of salary policy in 2013-2020 was divided into two phases. The first from 2013-2015 and the second from 2016-2020 will increase gradually minimum wage to make it suit the nation’s socio-economic development.

The conference looked to perfect mechanisms on finance and wages for public agencies to enable them to provide better services for society and guarantee all people to gain access and enjoy fundamental services with high quality.

Việt Nam needs to create more resources for wages, not only from the State budget but also from Official Development Assistance (ODA), said Professor Bùi Thế Vĩnh from the Finance Academy.
