Deputy Dam made the point at a summary conference of the ten-year campaign “"Every organization, every individual associated with a humanitarian address" on January 15 in Ha Noi.

The campaign crafted over 2.5 million humanitarian addresses; supported 2.3 addresses with a total value of VND 3.8 trillion.

A large number of typical humanitarian modals included “Loving kitchens,” “Red Cross houses,” “Cow banks,” and “Rice Jars of Love.” So far, Red Cross associations formulated over 180 loving kitchens; build 29,000 houses; presented nearly 24,000 cows for poor households.

Addressing the conference, Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam treasured the efforts of the Red Cross at all levels and its volunteers and members, millions of donators who have made practical contributions to the humanitarian movement. The campaign has served socio-economic development as well as poverty reduction.

The Deputy PM reiterated Viet Nam’s commitments to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the message in which ‘no one is left behind.’

Mr. Dam suggested the Viet Nam Red Cross Society promote good modals; resolve obstacles of policies in favor of humanitarian activities./.
