He expressed his delight at the achievements in the bilateral relationship, especially Hungary's preferential credit for water and environment projects in Viet Nam, expecting Viet Nam to facilitate the development of Hungarian pharmaceuticals in the Vietnamese market.

Viet Nam always attaches importance to strengthening and developing friendship and cooperation with traditional friends in Central and Eastern Europe, including Hungary – one of its leading partners, asserted Mr. Trong.

The two leaders hailed the two countries' decision to upgrade their relations to the comprehensive partnership, addingthat it marks a historic milestone, creating a new framework to expand and deepen bilateral cooperation.

They agreed to work together to effectively implement measures to promote cooperation in politics - diplomacy, security - defense, economy - trade, education - training, health, environment, culture, sports, and tourism.

They agreed to direct the implementation of the agreements signed by the two governments and create favorable conditions to uphold each side’s potential and advantages and the effectiveness of economic projects, serving for development goals in the upcoming time.

The Party General Secretary welcomed the Hungarian President’s proposals on personnel training, as well as cooperation in agriculture and medicines.

Secretary General Nguyen Phu Trong invited Hungarian President Janos Ader to visit Viet Nam at his convenience. President Ader accepted the invitation with pleasure.
