Hungarian Ambassador honoured with friendship insignia
VGP - A ceremony was held in Ha Noi on September 13 to present the “For Peace and Friendship among nations” insignia to Cuban Ambassador to Viet Nam Herminio Lopez Diaz in recognising his contributions to strengthen the two countries’ relations.

Speaking at the event, Ambassador Herminio Lopez Diaz said the insignia demonstrates the warm feeling of the VUFO, the Viet Nam-Cuba Friendship Association and Vietnamese people towards him and Cuban people in general.
He pledged to continue to work for the fruitful friendship and solidarity between the two countries.
During his tenure in Viet Nam, Ambassador Herminio Lopez Diaz has contributed to the success of high-level visits between the two countries.
The ambassador has also paid due attention to strengthening bilateral collaboration in economy, culture and health care, as well as partnerships between businesses and cultural-social organisations of the two countries.
