According to its latest official dispatch on the enhancement of pandemic prevention and control in the new situation, the provincial People’s Committee has made it mandatory to wear face masks outdoors, requesting people to implement disinfection, keep distance from each other, avoid mass gatherings, perform medical declarations as required, and not to leave home when unnecessary.

The provincial Department of Transport is responsible for directing enterprises and passenger transport establishments to stop passenger carriage routes from, through or to the pandemic-hit areas; periodically disinfect their means of transport; arrange antiseptic solution on vehicles; and check passengers’ body temperature before allowing them on board.

In addition, the chairperson of the provincial People’s Committee assigned subordinate levels to strictly implement the tasks of reviewing and completing COVID-19 fight plans, design plans on establishment of a provincial-level concentrated quarantine establishment and field hospitals, expand SARS-CoV-2 testing capacity, and communication on pandemic prevention and control.
