Ho Chi Minh City plans fireworks to celebrate National Day

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee has just approved the plan fireworks display celebrating the National Day (September 2) at Dam Sen Cultural Park in District 11.

Fireworks are planned to be set off for 15 minutes from 21h00. The event is aimed to attract domestic, foreign tourists and local people, developing the city’s tourism industry. 

To celebrate the National Day, Ho Chi Minh City also plans to hold various artistic programmes, as well as a bicycle race around the city and a banquet for diplomatic missions and international organisations, among others.
