Health ministry confirms 32 new COVID-19 cases

VGP – The Ministry of Health confirmed 32 new COVID-19 cases, including 31 local infections on Monday noon, raising the national patient tally to 3,444.

 

Among the community infection cases, 21 were reported at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District, seven in Bac Giang, one in Hoa Binh, one in Da Nang and one in Hai Duong.

The imported case is a Pakistani man who flew from the United Arab Emirate to Ho Chi Minh City on May 8.

He is being treated at the Long Dien District Medical Center in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.

Earlier in the morning, the ministry confirmed 80 COVID-19 cases, including 78 community-transmitted cases and two imported cases./.
