Head of Government to talk online with the public in February

VNGOVNet – In the afternoon of January 24, in Hanoi, the Government Website in collaboration with the Communist Party of Vietnam Website, VietnamNet and Vietnam Television Station organized a press conference to announce that PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng will talk online with the public on February 9.

The talk has the theme, "For a socialist Vietnam of wealthy people, powerful nation, and equal, democratic, and civilized society; successful integration; and sustainable development” scheduled for 9-11 AM on February 9 at the head office of the Government Website, 16 Lê Hồng Phong, Hanoi.

The talk will also be simultaneously on the Government Website, the CPV’s website and VietnamNet. Through this direct type of communication, the head of the Vietnamese Government would like to listen to the public’s opinions and clarify the Party and Government’s positions, guidelines and policies on different issues of their concern in order to activate them for national construction and development.

From after the press conference to the talk's end, everyone can send his/her questions to the PM on www.chinhphu.vn (the Government) or www.dangcongsan.vn (the Party) or www.vietnamnet.vn (VietnamNet) on nine topics: Vietnam’s socio-economic status in 2006; measures for rapid and sustainable socio-economic development in 2007 and beyond; the fight against corruption and prodigality; land, housing and the policies concerned; the administrative reform; culture, education, and health; scientific and technological advancement; natural calamity and epidemic control; and livelihoods, jobs and social policies.
