Mr. Dung expressed thanks to the Russian Embassy, especially the Ambassador for having supported a delegation of the Government Office to make a successful visit to Russia recently.

Regarding the outcomes of the visit, Dung said Russian ministries and agencies committed to comprehensive assistance for Viet Nam in e-government development and cyber security.

He asked the Russian Embassy to continue coordinating with the Vietnamese Government Office in deploying the memorandum of understanding reached during the visit.

Russia is one of Viet Nam’s highly trusted partners in national defense and security, affirmed Minister Dung.

Ambassador Konstantin Vnukov said in early 2019, the Russian Government will send a delegation of experts who will work with Vietnamese partners to conduct studies and design a specific cooperation plan in e-government development.

At meeting with German Ambassador Christian Berger, Minister Dung was delighted at the development in the two nations’ relationship and active engagements between Vietnamese ministries, agencies and localities and the Ambassador over the past time.

Dung said that he is willing to listen to the diplomat’s proposals to remove obstacles in bilateral economic cooperation, asserting that Viet Nam always facilitates Germany’s investment in Viet Nam, particularly in such fields of infrastructure, renewable energy, transport, supporting industry and environment.

He expressed his belief that the Ambassador will continue his contributions to promoting Viet Nam-Germany strategic partnership in the upcoming time.

Mr.  Christian Berger thanked for Dung’s active role in addressing difficulties faced by investors in Viet Nam, discussing with Dung on some Germany-invested projects which have been realized in Viet Nam.

Dung pledged to work with the Vietnamese relevant agencies to address issues proposed by the Ambassador to speed up progress of the projects as regulated.
