Head of Direction Board for ABG5 appointed
VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung has assigned the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism as head of the Steering Board to prepare and organize the 5th Asian Beach Games 2016 (ABG5-2016).
The event is expected to last 10 days in June 2016 in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province, Da Nang City and Binh Thuan Province.
The PM has issued Decision No.2177/QĐ-TTg about the establishment of the Steering Board to prepare and organize the ABG5-2016.
Also in Decision, the Board is responsible for establishing and approving for Plan to prepare and organize ABG5-2016 in Viet Nam.
It also helps the PM to inspect and associate with some ministerial agencies of the Government and People’s Committee in some provinces and cities to prepare for organizing the event.
The Board works with the Organization Board of the Asian Beach Games and some agencies and ministries as well as relevant localities to propose policies and measures to organize the sports festival.
