The deputy PM recognized and applauded the impressive socio-economic development results that Hai Phong has achieved last year as well as in the first two months of 2018.

Hai Phong “took off” with a growth rate more than twice as  high as the average rate of the nation, he said, adding that the city was also one of the most drastic localities in improving the local investment environment.

Dung stated that Hai Phong still possesses numerous potential and advantages for greater development, with large industrial and service projects currently underway in the city promising to generate high growth in the year ahead.
