Hai Duong raises alert level, imposing quarantine on three areas

VGP – The authorities of Hai Duong province have decided to raise alert levels especially in Hai Duong city, Binh Giang, Thanh Ha, and Nam Sach districts, to fight COVID-19.

The Hai Duong provincial People’s Committee imposed a 28-day medical quarantine on No. 10 (Tran Van Giap Street in Hai Duong city), Mac Thi Buoi (Nam Sach town, Nam Sach District), and Truc Tri hamlet (Quoc Tuan commune, Nam Sach district) from 0:00 AM of August 17. 

Inter-locality passenger coaches, cars, and taxis are not allowed to stop, pick up, or drop passengers in Hai Duong province.  

Earlier, on August 14, the northern province imposed a temporary  quarantine on Ngo Quyen Street. 

On August 16, Ha Duong released a report on urgent measures against the COVID-19 pandemic. Accordingly, the locality upgraded its emergency level and mobilized the entire political system to combat the pandemic especially in Hai Duong city, Binh Giang, Thanh Ha, and Nam Sach districts. 

As of late August 16, Ha Duong confirmed five infections which linked to a restaurant at Ngo Quyen Street./.
