Hà Tây, Huế benefit from US medical aid
VNGOVNet – By the recommendations from the Ministry of Finance (MoF) and on behalf of the Prime Minister, Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm has allowed the Hà Tây Province Patron Association for the Disabled and Orphans to benefit from 695 second-hand wheelchairs, strollers and their spare parts provided by Latte-Dayaint and Hope Haven International Minitie of America.
The Deputy PM requested the Hà Tây Province People’s Committee to work with the beneficiaries on the quality check of the shipment under the current regulations in consultation with the Ministry of Health's ideas delivered in Document 2755/BYT-TC of December 21, 2006.
On the same day, he also allowed the Medical School of the Huế University under the Ministry of Education and Training to benefit from the other batch of medical equipment that has been used and medical books awarded by Americare Neurosugery International of America. The Deputy PM ordered the Ministry of Education and Training to work with the beneficiaries to check the equipment's quality to the Ministry of Health's professional standards and the Ministry of Culture and Information's regulation on imported medical books.
