Ha Noi placed under 15-day social distancing since July 24

VGP – Ha Noi Municipal People’s Committee has decided to impose 15-day social distancing in the entire city in accordance with the Government's Directive No. 16/CT-TTg, starting from 6.00 am on July 24.

Under Directive No. 16, only factories, businesses and service establishments producing and providing essential goods and services are allowed to open and asked to ensure workers follow strict health guidelines.

All people are requested to stay at home and only go out in case of emergencies, buying food or medicine, or going to work at factories and essential services that are not closed down or halt operations.

If leaving home, people are requested to keep a minimum distance of two meters from each other. Any gathering of more than two people in public outside of offices, schools and hospitals is banned.

Earlier, Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh urges Hanoians to update their health declaration regularly via the website tokhaiyte.vn.

Those who find themselves with symptoms like fever, sore throat or shortness of breath should immediately contact local health services for advice.

As of 1:00 pm on July 24, the capital city recorded 685 infection cases, including 420 cases detected in the community./.
