Ha Noi leaders pay floral tribute to Lenin on his birthday
VGP - A delegation from the Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee, and the Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Noi laid wreaths at the statue of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin at Lenin Park in Ba Dinh district, on April 22, marking the 148th birthday of the late leader (April 22, 1870- April 22, 2018).

The delegation was led by Politburo member Hoang Trung Hai, Secretary of the municipal Party Committee.
Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung and Chairwoman of the Ha Noi People’s Council Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc also joined the delegation.

This is an annual activity of Ha Noi officials to commemorate Lenin, one of the most eminent political figures and revolutionary thinkers of the 20th century.
Lenin masterminded the Bolshevik take-over of power in Russia in 1917. He was the architect and first leader of the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR).
Vladimir Ilyich Lenin was also a great teacher of workers worldwide.
