Ha Noi leader meets Lao veterans
VGP - Deputy Secretary of the Ha Noi Party Committee Dao Duc Toan in Ha Noi on November 30 received a war veteran delegation from Vientiane, Laos led by Major Sonchay Khamavongkeo, Vice President of the Vientiane Veterans’ Association.

He stated that in the coming time, the association will continue expanding relations with veterans’ associations in different localities of Viet Nam.
In turn, Mr. Toan lauded the friendship between people and army of Viet Nam and Laos as well as Ha Noi and Vientiane over the past years.
He noted that both sides have continuously exchanged high-ranking delegations to boost cooperation and share experience in all fields.
During the recent visit of Secretary of the Ha Noi Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai, the two cities signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in 2017-2020, laying a foundation for specific bilateral cooperation in the future, he said.
