VGP - Foreign and local artists have recently completed a nearly 1,500-square-meter pottery mural running along a section of the Red River in Hà Nội.

July 18, 2009 9:10 AM GMT+7

The ceramic mural along the Red River is made to celebrate the capital city’s 1000th anniversary

A total of 21 sections of the picture have different patterns and themes which honor Việt Nam’s art and cultural heritages.

The mural will be registered for the World Guinness Records by 2010.

It is made to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of Thăng Long-Hà Nội which is scheduled next year.

The work has been done by both domestic and foreign artists, including Michael Geertsen from Denmark, Dominique de Miscault from France and others from the UK, the US, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Finland.
