VGP - The International Travel Expo HCM City 2017 (ITE HCMC 2017) will be held from September 7-9 with 300 local and foreign companies participating in from over 30 countries and territories.

August 31, 2017 3:55 PM GMT+7

Considered the largest and best established travel exhibition in Viet Nam, the expo will cover 6,500sq.m at the Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Centre in District 7.

This year's expo will draw regional and international exhibitors and sellers with a wide range of travel products and services.

It is viewed as an opportunity for Vietnamese and foreign firms to introduce their tourism products and services. This year, with the theme “Your Gateway to Tourism in Asia”, there will be more than 300 booths, a rise of 15 percent compared to last year’s figure.

Director of the HCM City Department of Tourism Bui Ta Hoang Vu said a highlight of the event will be a programme designed especially for international buyers and the media, with the expected attendance of nearly 300 buyers and 40 reporters and bloggers from the UK, France, the Netherlands, Germany, India, New Zealand and Thailand

Many conferences, including one for Tourism Co-operation between Viet Nam and ASEAN countries, will also be organised during the exhibition.

Established in 2005, ITE HCMC has been regarded as Viet Nam's foremost tourism trade event.
