HCM City to host Hospital Management Asia conference
VGP – At least 600 international experts and officials are expected to attend the Hospital Management Asia conference (HMA 2009) in Hồ Chí Minh from August 12 to 14.

HMA 2009 is a good chance for Vietnamese hospital managers to share experience with foreign counterparts |
The conference will hear about 40 reports, including eight ones presented by Vietnamese physicians, about hospital management trends and reforms in Asia.
There will be roundtable discussions on the same topic.
The HMA annual conference is sponsored by the world-level organizations in healthcare and hospital standardization such as WHO, Joint Commission International (JCI), Johns Hopkins Medicines International, and International Hospital Federation (IHF).
Some major activities in the framework of the conference include the Hospital Trends Expo, Fellowship Night with delegates from 30 countries across Asia Pacific, presentation ceremonies of the Asian Hospital Management Awards, the Meeting Of Minds sessions, and the CEO Management Forum.
This is the first time for Việt Nam to host an HMA conference.
