At the reception, Cambodian Ambassador to Viet Nam Prak Nguon Hong thanked Viet Nam for helping Cambodia during its national construction and development. He pledged to do his best to strengthen connections between people of both countries.

He also agreed on the need to strengthen communications, especially among youngsters, on the significance of maintaining friendship between the two nations.

He also affirmed determination to preserve and promote the Cambodia-Viet Nam friendship and solidarity, benefiting both peoples.

In turn, the Deputy Minister congratulated Cambodia on great achievements in all fields that the Cambodian Government led by Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen and Cambodian people have gained during the country’s national construction and development over the past years, improving locals’ living conditions and the country’s position in the region and the world.

He said he wishes Cambodia will successfully organise its general elections in July 2018.

Stressing the significance of maintaining the neighbourliness, solidarity and friendship between the two countries, Quy suggested that Cambodian Ambassador to Viet Nam Prak Nguon Hong pay more attention to populalisation of bilateral ties among the two countries’ people, especially the youth.

The Deputy Foreign Minister also expressed his belief that the diplomat will work hard to foster connectivity between the two countries and peoples.
