Govt’t to spend over VND30 trillion on tourism infrastructure development

Under the program, the Government expects to build modern infrastructure system in order to boost tourist attraction, attract foreign and domestic investment in national tourist areas, contributing to turn tourism into a key economic sector of Viet Nam.

Specifically, the Government plans to develop comprehensive and modern infrastructure for 3-5 national tourist areas and provide financial resources to support tourism infrastructure development for other 30 tourist sites.

Last year, Viet Nam welcomed more than 10 million turns of foreign arrivals and the figure is expected to increase to 13 million this year./.
