Gov't to issue decree on State management over IPs, EPZs, hi-tech parks and economic zones in August
VNGOP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng delivered an instruction to the Ministries of Planning and Investment, Internal Affairs, and other relevant ministries in Document 2354/VPCP-TCCB issued on May 04, 2007 by the Government Office.
According to the Document, the Ministry of Planning and Investment is responsible for collaborating with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other relevant ministries to draft and submit to the Government a decree on State management over industrial parks, export processing zones, hi-tech parks and economic zones to be issued in August 2007 as directed by the PM under Document 1422/VPCP-CN dated on March 19, 2007.
The Decree will cover the definitions, standards, conditions, procedures, sequence, and power to establish industrial parks, export processing zones, hi-tech parks, and economic zones. The Decree will also define functions, obligations, power and organizational structure of the management boards administered by the ministries and provincial-level People's Committees.
