PM Dung told Mr. A. V. Dyukov that he and Russian counterpart Medvedev all agreed to back the current and future joint projects between the two companies at their meeting on the sidelines of the 25th ASEAN Summit in Myanmar.

The Vietnamese Government chief urged the two sides to finalize documents and agreements on oil and gas cooperation which are expected to be signed during the Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong’s upcoming visit to Russia.

PM Dung expected that Gazprom Neft will continue expanding investment, particularly in oil and gas exploration, petroleum refining, and crude oil supply in a bid to make practical contributions to trade and economic linkages between the two countries.

Mr. A. Dyukov said Gazprom Neft and PVN are going to sign an agreement for new petroleum project in Russia.

He expressed his belief that bilateral cooperation in this field will bring about practical benefits to both countries./.
