PM Dung welcomed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on anti-corruption between the two agencies earlier on the same day.

He said the Vietnamese Government is now improving legal framework and capacity of law enforcement bodies while strictly handling corruption acts.

PM Dung went on to say that the Southeast Asian country joined the UN Convention against Corruption in a bid to enhance international cooperation in this field.

Mr. Plokhoi Oleg Anatolyevich affirmed that his agency will coordinate closely with the Vietnamese Government Inspectorate to fruitfully realize the agreements reached by both sides./.
