Gov’t releases Resolution for November

According to the Government’s regular meeting for November, the Government requested that ministries, agencies and localities conduct drastic measures to remove obstacles; encourage innovation; early craft action programs to implement the Government’s Resolution on key measures and tasks on socio-economic development plan and state budget estimate for 2019 at the beginning of the year. 

Preparing for Lunar New Year Festival (Tet)

Ministries, agencies, and localities were assigned to boost production and business; meet domestic demand at the year end and Lunar New Year festival.

The Ministries of Industry and Trade, Finance, Agriculture and Rural Development, and localities were asked to stockpile essential commodities; tighten market management; combat trade frauds. 

The Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs and localities were assigned to prepare Tet for people with merits especially those in difficult and far-reaching areas, and natural disasters-ravaged areas. 

The Ministry of Transport was asked to plan transport options for rising travelling demands of people during Tet holidays. The Ministry of Public Security was assigned to ensure social order and safety during Tet. 

The State Bank of Viet Nam was urged to keep a close watch on exchange rates, interest rates; and safeguard credit organizations to operate in a safe and effective manner. 

Striving for State budget collection 

The Government tasked the Ministry of Finance to prevent tax evasion and review tax collection in order to exceed the State budget collection plan for 2018. 

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development was assigned to speed up the agricultural restructuring plan; and accelerate high-tech application./.
